"And remember, they talk to me. They tell me you are great! They love you, Shelley!" Over the years, we’ve had a few dog walkers and sitters. They were all competent, but my dogs’ behavior when I get home says it all.
Since we’re mostly retired, we spend a lot of time with our dogs, and we walk them two or three times a day. They are used to constant interaction with us. Boarding them in a kennel will not work. They need to be at our home where they have their routine, their beds that they are used to, and their own yard. |

Magic and Maya are old now, and Maya is mostly blind and deaf. They won’t do well in new surroundings. Mystic is quite spoiled and needs someone to be with him at night. And, since Boggs passed on Mystic is even needier. It’s comforting to know you are there with them.
When I get home from my trips, they are happy! They say hello to me, and they aren’t all agitated and stressed. In the past, Mystic would shed awfully from stress when I traveled. When you watch them, they behave well and when I return there are no signs of stress and no hair loss! I even think Mystic thinks you are his new playmate. And remember, they talk to me. They tell me you are great! They love you, Shelley! Magic thinks you know what you are doing and you can control Mystic. Maya probably doesn’t even know I was gone! We love having you be our pet and house sitter. We trust you. We know our dogs are happy and walked, and more importantly, safe with you.
